Reflection theory is based on warped impersonation. Where things like media are poor impersonations of real experiences. This resonates heavily with the act of masking. Masking is learned behaviors of impersonation to have control over how we are perceived. This looks different for everyone. The mixed media of the garlics represent the evolution of one's masking. Some are realistic, while others have a stylized spin, much like how impersonation has different motives and results as we mature.
